Why UCI?

I was impressed by everything I saw about the program! All the faculty and residents were super friendly and welcoming. I also felt that working at an academic hospital would train me to become a great physician. Furthermore, I really like the work this program does with immigrant communities around Orange County. Lastly, I was born and raised in Huntington Beach and volunteered at UCIMC before medical school. To return home and serve the community in which I grew up has been a long dream of mine.

Medical Interests:

Primary care, community health, working with the underserved communities

Hobbies:

Board, card, video games, cooking, reading action-adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, and thriller novels and manga

Fun Facts:

I have a black belt in Taekwondo.

Future Plans:

Nothing too concrete right now, but I ultimately want to establish a healthy work-life balance, continue to practice in SoCal, and find what makes me happy.
